Apparently, Piratis is one of the few on this forum who actually get any reading done instead of assuming…

The constitution failed to allay the suspicion and distrust that had increasingly divided the two communities, especially since the eruption of intercommunal violence in 1958.

Not true GR, so do I.

Many Greek Cypriots viewed the Zurich-London agreements as imposed on Cyprus from outside, and therefore illegitimate. Their main objection to the agreements, however, was that they barred the unification, or enosis, of Cyprus with Greece.

ENOSIS wish of the GCs was the main reason why the partnership didn't work or was even given a proper chance by you GCs and Greeks.

It was your wish for ENOSIS that you (GCs") didn't want it to work and "proposed" the 13 changes to give you the power to be able to call a referendum and vote for ENOSIS "legally".

And just because you didn't get your wish you GCs and the Greeks attempted to genocide us TCs to get your wish.

But that didn't work either so now you are trying the "we are all Cypriots" and "GCs are not Greeks" game in the hope that the world will believe you
but most importantly we TCs believe you and give up all our rights and get lost in a GC/Greek controlled Cyprus.

That will not work either GR, you'll have to think of something else but that will never work either because no one believes you any more.

The issue is the same and a follow up to Piratis' quote from the same link he so kindly provided us with. Wasn't that kind of him.:lol::lol::lol:lol:

In this forum where Greeks and GCs spew lies all the time it is always relevant so no need to save it.

Well maybe because Turkey came a long way from the Ottoman era through a major transformation, regarding their views on religion and the mission to rule the world.

You didn't. :P

Seriously though, even the language and the alphabet changed completely. Do you still relate to the Byzantium era?

And I am telling you AGAIN:

1) Was it fine when Cyprus was under the Ottoman and British empires but somehow it was a crime for Cyprus to be part of a free Greek state which is what the great majority of Cypriots themselves wanted and what happened in all the other liberated Greek territories and islands?

2) It was the TCs who started the inter-communal conflict in 1958. They attacked us, not the other way around. And I have proven this to you beyond any doubt.

3) It was TCs who demanded that we should be annihilated from the north part of our country and who later put into action this plan of theirs. We have never committed and annihilations or genocides you did as it was your plan since 50s.

1958 dear Eric is the year when you started the inter communal conflict against us and made plans for our annihilation from the north part of our island.

What are you, the comedian of the forum?

I am just saying some simple facts.

You are trying to lie through your arse again you mean.

The truth is that the GCs murdered two TC policemen first but you know this to be true and are trying to hide it.

The inter-communal conflict was started by you in 1958.
And about the same time you made plans and demands for our annihilation from the north part of our country.

Thats in 1958. Until then we didn't harm you or threaten you or anything else. We simply fought for the liberation of our island against the colonialists, so Cyprus can be free like the many other Greek islands and territories.

So can you swallow the fact that it is you who started the inter-communal conflict, and it is you who made plans for our annihilation back from 1950s? Or you will continue to pretend that it is the GCs who started that conflict because thats what they brainwashed you to believe and thats what fits your propaganda purposes?

Next you'll be telling me that we TCs should have fought against the British alongside our "GC brethren" and help get you your ENOSIS and live happily ever after as Greek Muslims?

VP is 100% right about you, you lie and say the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again and again and again and again and again and..............................................again.

What speed do you run on, 45 or 78rpm?

2 policemen? Yeah, that was a war alright

The conflict my friend, where 100s of people died started in 1958 when the TCs attacked us as the video shows.

The "TC policemen" you talk about where thugs hired by the British Colonialists to do guess what? To kill the GCs who were fighting for their freedom. Or you deny this fact? If any of them got killed this happened because they were trying to kill our liberation fighters.

Cypriots on one side fighting for the liberation of their island, and Turks and British together on the other side fighting against the Cypriots to keep Cyprus enslaved. Thats how it was then, and thats how it is now.

You are confused Piratis, you think your problems started in the 1958 riots but you ignore the cause of those riots, which was the culmination of your acts supporting your dream for enosis, lets get rid of the British and gift Cyprus to Greece, well anyone with half a brain could not expect us to support this suicidal ideology.
