I do not think Eric alone could counter balance the amount of Greek bigotry floating about in this forum, in fact all TC's here put together can't either.

Look Shah, I hate bigotry whether it is TC against GC, GC against TC, rednecks against Oz aboriginals. To me it is a disease no matter what nationality instigates it. And bigotry (from a minority of GC and TCs) are ruining it for the majority. So no need to preach to me.

I must say this although I may be guessing, a good 80-90% of both GCs and TCs are not discriminative at all. Which brings me to my point, the minority bigots amongst us have fucked us both.

A wopping 96% of GCs who wanted ENOSIS isn't what you call a minority especially when the "Government" at the time was made up solely of GCs who also backed the 96% of GCs. Let's also not forget that even the GO Church was 100% for ENOSIS.

If you're referring to the 1950 "vote" keep in mind that it was a CHURCH vote so those that couldn't be bothered going to churches (mostly men) never took part. The 96% is of church goers not population.

Here's a question for you Eric, why do you think many GC people wanted ENOSIS with Greece besides having a false belief that they were of Greek origin?

Apart from that We do agree on the Cyprob. The bloody foreigners , that is those that consider Greece or Turkey to be their lawful wedded f..ng motherlands , should do us all a favour and clear off !!! Their departure might also reduce the unavoidable amount of stinking cigarette smells everywhere you go in Cyprus !!
