‘We can’t discuss Cyprus over coffee’

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You disappoint me. "Just a Minute" is a hilarious game, for adults. It is transmitted quite regularly on BBC (here in Cyprus at least) and the co ordinator, asks one of the 4 contestants to talk for one minute on a particular subject. He must do so without hesitation, without reapeating a word and a few others "without" some of which are unconstituted. Anyone of the other three contestants can challenge the speaker if he/she thinks there is a breach of the rules. If the co ordinator thinks its a fair challenge, the challenger gets a point and the contestant who speaks at the end of the one minute period also gets a point. Its a case where one minute feels like an eon.

Your picture looks like an appropriate avatar but lately I was pondering on the idea of changing my nick to Efialtis. You see the presence of efialtes among us gives meaning to the miserable lives of certain people. Its like sinners who exist for the sheer pleasure of priests and professional god sellers. Witout them they would be nothing. Efialtes are also very good for shouldering the responsibiltity of all our acts that fail miserably because of our stupitidy.
