Not possible - my "etchings" have cleared up nicely since I took the penicillin thank you :lol:

Looking at those pics of Lefkoniko and Yialousa and the girls Ifigenia and Eleni, I wonder how the future inhabitants of Lefkoniko and Yialousa will look at those photos as they explain to their children how the inhabitants of Lefkoniko in `1928 dressed like that and had names like Ifigenia and Eleni.

Ineresting to read that pirates inhabited Karpasia. We have a family heirloom, the sword used by my granfather's grandfather in his pirate days. But there is no information as to which village he came from.

Nikitas, please dont tell GR and Piratis that there were Greek/Cypriot pirates on Cyprus. They are in denial.

Seriously, do you have any clues as to where the 'sword' was manufactured. My family had a 'sword' made in Lapithos. Apparently these were famous. For many years it had not lost its edge. I remember its bone handle very well.
