Another beauty is "Mountain Maids" look at those eyes..


There are always a few on ebay, it's a July 1928 edition by the way.

Loved every single one of them Umit...Got my smell memories working for some strange reason...The smell of the carob that my dad used to try and make me eat and I hated.....This was in 74 when I went back for the first time........I had my favorite time on my cousins farm....
Great great pictures...I will be looking on ebay for some myself....

Unfortunately none on Ebay. I also Googled them, the best bet seems to be buying from the USA.

I just Googled "National Geographic Cyprus " , but only found sold one's. I will email Nationanal Geographic today and see if they have any copies, I will let you know.

Check Amazon. They have a few there from 1928., but not sure of the month. Go to the magazine section.

Umit, I have Googled "Copyright laws", it seems that the copyright lasts no longer than 70 years. I'm sure that many of us would like hard copies of these pics, any ideas?
