No worries mate. Did you see the one of Kyrenia in colour? It's quitehard to imagine those days.

THe arches in the old streets of Limasol? I don't think anyone remembers them.

I love the picture of Helen and daughter, sorting stones for road building. Reminds me of the 'gangs of women going to work on the roads in the 50's. Usually GC. Whilst the men usually farming and shehherding, end the days in the Kafenion waiting for the women to come back from their hard toil to cook for them.

Lovely pictures Umit.

I think the only places left now with old flavour are the villages. How things change, not always for the better..

The arches in Limassol, were they near the old Turkish Baths, or am I too far away, anyone know ?

Are you looking at the pic of arched builings? They are the Coffee shops in the walled city of Famagusta. They are still there.

You cross the moat, through the tiny 'Gate'. One way only, or single file, and there they are.

Or are there other pics of Limasol. I did not see them. Yet.

The one's of Limassol, men and boys in the foreground, flat capped, great picture. I have tried to buy a copy of this edition since seeing Umits post, but it seems a scarce copy.
I have seen the arches at Famagusta, still retains most of it's history..

Another beauty is "Mountain Maids" look at those eyes..
