Another example of turkish "civilization"

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Pray tell me where I am biased. If possible I may even explain.

Every day I visit the forum there are hundreds of threads by some well known TC/Turks members that try to mock Greece & GC and yet you never say the things you said to me. Why? Even in this forum Halil & Gabira responded quite similarly and you said nothing to them. I hope I am understood. Good luck!

Kurupetos, there are a lot of badmouths on the forum, from both sides. What do you expect. Opinions will vary. I can respect or ignore opinions as long as they are civil. If you have not noticed I feel I am already at loggerheads with some TCs. I try to avoid confrontation with members as its a pointless task. Its crazy arguing with people who hide behind nicknames.

Have you ever considered that the two members were merely retaliating in kind to some of your more colorful posters. It has become a tit-for-tat situation.

I beg to differ with your opinion about me being biased, but that is your opinion and you are entitled to it.

Thanks for the 'good luck'.

Lets just get one thing straight here....As I am one of those mentioned.....The only time I post bad things is when it is needed to show hard headed posters that not all bad things happen in Turkey or the TRNC/KKTC......Yes I promote the TRNC/KKTC because that is my country and there it will stay UNTIL something better comes to light...The GCs here believe that that better thing is the "RoC"...I don't see it that way and am entitled to my opinion....Just because it does not meet with some peoples approval does not mean that they can take the high horse and ride off into the distance....I have explained why the "RoC" is not the proper and legal government of Cyprus and you have a right to counteract it as best you can but this better than you attitude will get what it deserves...Make no mistake about that.....

One that sees a united Cyprus. Where all ethnic groups can live together in harmony and peace with equal rights, but not a majority 'imposing' their will on other groups. This seems a bone of contention with all groups as it involves a better definitio of so called 'democracy'.

I would like all refugees to be able to return to their homes/lands where practical, otherwise suitbly compensated.

For the short term I would like some sort of a 'guarantor power', if not Turkey/Greece/Uk then EU.

Total demilitarisatio of the island (if practical)

The fine details I would leave to the politicians/negotiators.

If none of these are agreed upon then my dream will evaporate and will have to settle for kind of BBF. Which imo will not take place as there will be many discontets who will carry on the '.struggle'.

That failing, it will have to be partition. My last resort.

I love my home as a whole and not bisected.

So there you are.

Now watch the fireworks.

The majority imposed their will on us when the "proletariat" elected Christofias....why should you be any different?

A fine example of the kind of people I talk about regarding 'democracy'.
The kind of people which will destroy our island and keep it divided.

DT, if thats what you want you will not achieve it with Partition. It seems you are eager to split the island. No TC politician will give YOU hegemony over us with that attitude. You are better off 'negotiating' this point. From what I see on the forum, this is a major stumbling block.

 :?
huh?
I made a remark about our new president. I'm not sure what you've taken it to mean.

If you mean that I believe in democracy in the sense of one person one vote then yes thats right. I do also believe that special clauses should be sidelined to require seprate majorities in matters that concern only the TC community.

I also do not believe in 2 racially pure zones

You alluded to Christofias' election, hence also alluding to the one man one vote. That criteria is giving you the licence of hegemony over us. That is a thorny subject which needs to be carefully studied by negotiators.

I have the same dream and it makes me ache to get it but the reality follows very quickly as in DTs post and others here.......Those that miss the plot are just fooling themselves or are being paid to fool others.....

There is nothing wrong in dreaming Deniz and an honourable dream like that is still worth hanging on to...It breaks my heart to see people as peaceful as you, have to compromise that dream with people like this. I am so sorry my friend.

This could have happened anywhere in the world . The murder of this woman has absolutely nothing to do with Turkey apart from the fact that some maniac killed her in Turkey. I fail to see why anyone should derive satisfaction" that this killing took place in Turkey . No single Tukish citizen can be blamed for this other than the perpertrator .
