EU Gives PKK Money as Terror List Fiasco Deepens

Kurdishaspect.com - By Hevallo

Okay, the absurdity of including the PKK, the Kurdish Freedom Movement that is fighting for Kurdish Human and Political Rights in Turkey, on the 'terrorism' list, grew yesterday as the EU court awarded the PKK money for court costs incurred from a court case in which the PKK were found to be right, when they argued they should not of been added to the 'terrorism' list. However, it is being reported that the PKK remain on the terrorism list as this was in relation to a case in 2002.

Does this now mean that the court could be taken to court for 'funding and supporting terrorism' as a consequence of awarding court costs to the PKK?

Here it is in black and white from the judgement of the EU Court:

The Court

2. Orders the Council to bear, in addition to its own costs, all the costs incurred by Osman Ocalan on behalf of the PKK before the Court of First Instance and the Court of Justice;"

It is now time to end this fiasco and completely de-criminalise the Kurdish Freedom Movement and move towards a peaceful and democratic solution to The Kurdish Question in Turkey.

The PKK has made, literally dozens of calls, to the Turkish state for talks in relation to equal and political rights for the Kurdish people in Turkey only to be answered every time with military responses.

Everybody knows that the only reason that the PKK are on the list is because of massive arms sales, energy deals and Turkish lies and psychological warfare putting pressure on the EU.

However, the human cost of continuing to 'criminalise' the PKK means that Turkey feels justified in inflicting massive human rights abuses against the civilian Kurdish population, who support the PKK, in their so called war against 'terror', which is in reality, a war against the Kurdish people.

The word 'terrorist' makes the EU and International media, feel a little more comfortable and guilt free, when Turkey inflicts savage

repression and terror against innocent Kurdish women and children as they don't oppose or report it!

Hmmm..the ANC with Mandela at the helm was considered a terrorist organisation...

Even our buddies the US and UK agreed at one stage....but the tables were overturned as times and perspective changed...

PS...And please don't be morons and shoot the messenger...
