A TRNC delegation headed by the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Fatma Ekenoglu is attending the annual meeting of the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Cape Town in the Republic of South Africa today.
Mrs Ekenoglu is being accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Republican Turkish Party Omer Kalyoncu and the Secretary-General of the National Unity Party Nazim Cavusoglu.

Within the framework of the annual meetings, the TRNC delegation will be participating in a round-table meeting on the Cyprus problem.
The annual gathering of the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union will continue until April the 18th.
