Deniz, I am confused and have obviously missed a thread along the way......

Do you really need dentures, or are they just taking the mickey?

BTW ... I am not a Tax Inspector

Where the hell did you get this info from? That's the biggest slice of crap I've ever heard (Well apart from the bit about Hitler thinking he was right to invade Poland)

I collect Tax Trivia .....

Have never bought nor sold anything on this.

It is the refuge of delinquents as far as I am concerned ... or am I a fuddy-duddy with feet stuck in the car-boot? :?

Oracle,
You don't know what you're missing if you've never eBayed :)

We had an account in UK before we moved permanently to Cyprus but didn't do too much with it. However, since we moved to Cyprus my other half has started to rekindle his hobby of collecting stamps and concentrates on Republic Stamps.

He ended up getting a lot of spares or duplicates as not so many sell individual sets on eBay - so, that's what we started to do.... We listed the spare sets and after about 14 months - we opened our own eBay shop.

We now have regular clients and repeat buyers from all over the world and a fair number of Cypriot buyers too.

Maybe you should take a look and then, you will realise just how true the words of the eBay song by Weird Al Yankovich really are

Careful though! eBay can be VERY addictive :!:

Well that's very impressive if you've turned it into a business :D

... BTW we have trillions of stamps we inherited ... but they won't be going anywhere

I hate shopping full stop ... can't get excited about gambling, mistrust strangers regarding financial transactions, spend enough time on the PC ... so what does it have going for me :?
