If I remember your argument correctly, you claim that there was no Republic of Turkey when the Republic of Turkey signed the Treaty of Lausanne (theory down the tubes already) so people of Turkish background who spoke Turkish living in Cyprus couldn't be TCs.

What boomers was basically saying is that the bulk of the TC community to be found on Cyprus came and grew at a time when Turkey did not exist and he is right. Later, with the Treaty of Lausanne, the Brits gave the TC community the chance to leave and join the new "Turkey" if they wanted or convert to British citizenship and indeed around 10,000 left.

Didn't you once claim that TCs and Greeks have the same/similar genes and blood GR? Does that not mean that if we are remnants of the Ottoman then so are you Greeks?
