As a person who lives in a country that is also suffering serious problems with the water I understand the ones thay say: make no difference!!!!
And finally, just as an off toppic: I had loved Cyprus and the people there from the first day of my first visit, specially because of your kindness, but I'm reading things in this forum that are making me change my mind eveen thou one of my best friends is a Cypriot.
Excuse me if I'm being so rude.
Ah, Spanish_spinne, don't worry about what you read in this forum! It's always the same routine....someone posts a question like: "Are the post offices open on Tuesdays" and what follows is a torrent of harmless (and not so harmless) jibes and abuse, always with a few "I SAW A NEWS STORY ABOUT AN ENGLISH PERSON KILLING A DOG, SO GO BACK TO ENGLAND!!
" rants. Notice the complete irrelevance of the reply. It's all just a bit of fun, and happily does not reflect real life in Cyprus at all!
Oh, and yes, I think the hotels SHOULD have water - tourism being such a major - but dwindling - source of revenue for the island. Not fair I know, but we must look at this in the long term - no tourists, no income. Not even for the gun shops which some of these members would frequent to buy tourist-killing supplies!
