Well i heard that someone is taking Unwin Estates to court as they have recently started to build ontop of a GC persons olive grove....GOOD! With the recent highlight of the Orams case...I cant see how anyone could act dumb and not find out if they are building on GC land. I can sympathise with TC living on GC land because we are all in the same boat...but a foreign investor is different.

They have not taken them to court. They have filed for a European arrest warrant. See here for more details.

Building and selling land that was 'given' (for no money and not in exchange for property lost in the south in 74) is one thing - and actually the sale of such land to non Cypriots is extremely rare indeed. Building on and selling land that was given to a TC in exchange for land they lost in the south is another thing. You have sympathy for a TC living in a GC property that was given to them in exchange for land lost in 74 but no sympathy if they need to realise their value of their property?
