ignore the ignorant few who believe there is such thing as a "cypriot". The word "cypriot" has been used thousands of times on this forum by GC's inorder to get TC's to turn their back on their Turkish heritage, and to some degree they have succeeded. What these people dont understand is we are first and foremost Turks, and dying a turk means dying with pride and knowing who i am, i am nothing if not a turk. Enough of this "cypriot" garbage, "cypriot" is a term used on this forum by GC's that means GREEK CYPRIOT.

Yes I accept that we didn't want ENOSIS with Greece and to become just "Mulsim Turks" and suffer under Greek rule as the Turks in Greece.

I also accept that we defended ourselves from the murdering GC and Greek hordes who wanted to genocide us TCs.

Bastardized “Cypriots” are the cancer of Cyprus and thus not welcome. Those who feel strong about Turkey or Greece, or any other country for that matter, can easily go there and be happy and leave the rest in peace thank you.

...while we're on the subject, thanks to Big Al i might add, I have learned that there is a differance between a Cypriot Turk and a Turkish Cypriot. Thanks to this thread I am more sure there is a differance between a TC and a Turkish Cypriot. And thanks to BirKibrisli i know I have brothers, people who love this island, even above the pride they feel for their own identity, they are close to this land.

And don't forget that there are also Turks-who-live-in-Cyprus. They are most commonly called the Settlers...At the moment they outnumber Cypriot Turks and Turkish Cypriots by 2 to 1 (some commentators say 4 to 1,but I am being conservative here.) Most of these people have been given Citizenship and the right to vote...They are directed politically from Turkey...They are the biggest threat to any lasting and just solution...
