BRITAIN’S SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO CYPRUS VISITS LOKMACI
The Britain’s Special Representative to Cyprus Joan Ryan has had inspections at the Lokmaci Gate in the heart of Lefkosa. (Nicosia)
Mrs Ryan was accompanied by the Mayor of Lefkosa Turkish Municipality Cemal Bulutoglulari during her tour of the city.

Mr Bulutoglulari provided detailed information to Mrs Ryan about the crossings between the two sides and the history of the area during their walk to the buffer zone through the Lokmaci Gate.

The two had inspections at historic Buyukhan, Arasta and Asmaalti Streets where they chatted with shopkeepers.

this link shows old days of the Lokmaci-Ledra street for us . from this link we can learn more things about our history. at those days i was 7 years old and living one of the TC's enclaved villages at Kyreania discreat .
i remember the only conditions of the 1970 of the Lokmacı gate .İ have been searching to get old days of the Lokmacı-ledra street . ones more thanks Talisker.
İf anybody has the videos or picture of the area pls put it here.
