More accurately: they are Greek Cypriot armed men who happen to be members of a military organization established and regulated in complete contravention to the constitution of the RoC as defined at the time of her establishment.
Do you REALLY think it's wise to bring up things that contravene the RoC constitution given your support of the most ILLEGAL move against it called the "TRNC"?
I can safely assume you've skipped breakfast...
The military organization, whose members shown in the picture above, was both established in complete contravention to the constitution and has been set off to launch criminal attacks on the TCs before the TRNC and/or before '74.
If I remember well, the RoC constitution DOES have provision for GC, TC, Greek, and Turkish contingents although the acceptable numbers have been surpassed by all and sundry...
Get Real! wrote:With regards to the launch of attacks, had Turkish Cypriots NOT sided with the colonialist-British against the EOKA struggle, things might have been different today but I guess we'll never know...

The Hellenic flag might be a clue!!!
No Deniz mou .... there were flags of all descriptions and aplenty, flying around ... t'would be very easy to capture three men in camouflage having a stroll past any one
The evidence before me your''onour', is a Hellenic and perhaps a droopy Cyprus flag. If you would provide a wider angled picture showing all the other flags, I will reconsider.
Look through Halil's .... there are at least two other predominately red and white ones flapping around .... which don't even figure in the full parade of EU flags, such as you see outside various establishments in any EU-member country .... ....
There are red and white flags but NO Turkish soldiers. You quoted me with regards the pic of Greek speaking soldiers. I see only two flags. Provide your evidence, please.
Deniz, kindly read through the whole of these quotes again ... before you work yourself up into a frenzy having brought language into it now as well
There were flags some EU, some non-EU, and there were men in camouflage ... Murataga got into a tizz too ..... but the rest is speculation, and as GR! pointed out, we don't have the benefit of knowing exact dates ......
Enough mind-gymnastics ... housework beckons .....
