More accurately: they are Greek Cypriot armed men who happen to be members of a military organization established and regulated in complete contravention to the constitution of the RoC as defined at the time of her establishment.

Do you REALLY think it's wise to bring up things that contravene the RoC constitution given your support of the most ILLEGAL move against it called the "TRNC"? :?

I can safely assume you've skipped breakfast... :(

On the contrary it is the presence of the Turkish army, occupying 40% of Cyprus, that is in direct contravention of its "guarantor powers" ... as well as countless UN Resolutions as paste-posted by Piratis.

If there are any Greek soldiers on Cyprus, they are welcome here as EU-partner troops, and eventually there may well be yet more troops from other EU member countries stationed here to help free Cyprus from Turkish Occupation.

The military organization, whose members shown in the picture above, was both established in complete contravention to the constitution and has been set off to launch criminal attacks on the TCs before the TRNC and/or before '74.

You can not break the constitution in your favor, kill, enclave and embargo the TC community and at the same time expect them to yield on their inalienable right to actually do something about all of it.

If I remember well, the RoC constitution DOES have provision for GC, TC, Greek, and Turkish contingents although the acceptable numbers have been surpassed by all and sundry...

With regards to the launch of attacks, had Turkish Cypriots NOT sided with the colonialist-British against the EOKA struggle, things might have been different today but I guess we'll never know...

Looking at the picture posted above, as Deniz quite rightly pointed out they could just as easily be Turkish soldiers as GC ones or even Greek .. or even Yanks ... they do not have any obvious giveaways, camouflage is camouflage ... so how can Murataga be so certain only he knows what they are?
