if it the same how come thay said that thay opend the ledra street .
iknow when you move frome turkishe to greec thay as aturkishe citizen thay give you small paper withe astamp on it .
then you walked alittle then you will go to greec check point .this is what iam intrested in the greec check point is it still exsite or not .

It is exactly the same procedure as at Ledra Palace. You show passports/ids at the Turkish Cypriot side and they stamp a small peice of paper when you enter or exit. There are policeman at the Greek Cypriot side and nowadays they just do random id checks i.e. most people pass through without being checked. However, I imagine that people of non-European or non-Cypriot appearance would stand a greater chance of having their papers checked.

You are still ILLEGAL in the eyes of the Republic of Cyprus so don't even think about trying to go through Greek Cypriot police...
