Did you mean to say "bilmukabele" (likewise) Deniz?

bilmukabil = I do likewise

bilmukabele = in a likewise way.

Am I wrong? Please tell me.

Unless you used a good dictionary it puts you in the same age group, which means I am not alone in remembering some old expressions. :lol:

Its an amusing game. The expression is oft used in polite circles, I am wondering if there is a Turkish word for it. Maybe Eric dayi will come up with something.

Have heard it before Deniz but could not remember what it meant any more so looked it up on http://www.seslisozluk.com/ but got nothing on "bilmukabil",

bilmukabele =

1. To you likewise./Likewise to you./The same to you.
2. in return, in reciprocation; in response, in reply.
3. Karşılıklı olarak, karşılık olarak.
4. edat - Ben de, size de, sizlere de.
5. Karşılıklı. Karşılık olarak. Mukabil olarak.

My dad has got a very old Turkish Dictionary at home, I'll have a look in that when I visit him next.

The nearest to that would be "aynen (size de/sana da)" I think.
