We’re (GCs) the ones who need a settlement fast

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

oh cmon GR since when have you been such a sensitive soul???
Eric dayi isnt threatening anyone, he is merely stating a fact, he isnt in a position to threaten anyone as he isnt in control of the TSK. As for you disputing the numbers he quoted, no one really knows the exact numbers but you dont need to be a genius to figure out Turkey has a population of approx 80 mil, 40 mil being male, of these males military services is compulsary, all most all these 40 mil have or will do military service so his figure of 750,000 isnt really far fetched, particularly since 40,000 plus are already on cyprus. as for eric's claim of 24 hours for deployment, simply looking at any world map will highlight the fact that the distance between Turkey and Cyprus is minimal....hope this help

Very quickly, for your info its 520,000 regulars, of which 35,000 are in Cyprus (used to be 38,000). Turkey has many others commited in various other places.

The Alexandropol treaty was superseded by the Treaty of Kars (October 23, 1921), signed between Turkey and the newly-established Soviet Union. The treaty allowed for Soviet annexation of Adjara in exchange for Turkish control over the regions of Kars, Iğdır, and Ardahan. The treaty established peaceful relations between the two nations.

Does this not mean that since 1921 cyprus should have been returned to its rightful owners, Turkey???

Having lost in WWI Turkey had officially signed away ALL CLAIMS TO CYPRUS, including the right of intervention, in the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne. See articles 20 & 21...

In fact, those Turkish Cypriots that chose to remain in Cyprus signed away their Turkish Nationality for British.

Turkey recognised the annexation of cyprus by Britian, Britain no longer controls Cyprus...all bets are off Mr GR

In case you are suffering from dementia let me remind you that you had the same silly and childish thoughts in 1963 and again in 1974 when you believed that you can genocide us TCs within 48 hrs before Turkey woke up and came to our help. It's needless to remind you that you were stupid then and you are being stupid now.

Or do you believe that a communist "President" makes you stronger? uN:roll:

Unfortunately for you, it’s your TC friends that threatened with war, but you seemingly haven’t followed the thread, and I simply reminded them that in such an event their community wouldn’t be around long enough to see Turkish troops reach Paphos.

Here’s the threat in case you missed it…

Don't forget the 750,000 on stand by of which 100,000 can be deployed into Cyprus within 24 hours, plus the 5 minutes it takes for the jets to get here.

Unfortunately for you GR I have known you long enough to know that you are one of the biggest liars in this forum and also know that you just can't help being stupid.

There is no mention of war in the whole thread, Umit just reminded your bum buddy not to forget our Turkish people in Turkey.

If I excuse the totally incorrect figures stated,

You can try and excuse your stupidity GR but it doesn't alter the fact that you are stupid and will always be stupid.

as being the ignorance of yet another Turkish Cypriot Einstein; boy do you breed a lot of them,

Anyone can see that you are suffering from inferiority complex GR but I really do not have the time to feel sorry for an idiot like you.

it is clearly a THREAT and I don’t take kindly to threats so you should direct your gripe at them and not me.

That is very strong coming from a warmongering idiot who gets off at threatening, blackmailing and posting forum members personal information in this and other forums.

I would ask you to stop but I know it's not in your hands to do anything about your stupidity.

Technically, I'm afraid you're stuck with the dual Cypriot & British nationality...

So now you know why so many of you and your families speak English and live in England...

Deprive me not of my medication lest I surpass your accomplishments... :)

That's a softening of the blow if I ever did see one... how convenient!

I guess this is where you run out of ideas... :(

Does a refugee status qualify as a cause to that? :?

I wasn't talking about you specifically, hence... "so many of you" !
