I hope its not the curse of Tut-ank khamoon/ King Tut.. You did not touch his mask whilst visiting did you/he?

We studied it carefully, son and I, intent on returning on a "Mission Impossible" type scam ... but admitted defeat .... especially since the Cypriot Foreign Minister was due a visit a few days later and we did not want to soil relationships ....

The Foreign minister indeed returned with a smile on his face. The Oracles must have pleased him with some good news.

Personally I wouldnt trust those Egyptians. They speak with forked tongue.

The grand children are going to love this.

Thats my poor LOQUAT tree.

Deniz ... flooded with juicy loquats now ... even wild ones by the side of our (quite full) village dam

But Oracle, you are in Cyprus. This is the UK. I think I will have another 15 yr wait for my next harvest. I have a few in pots waiting for their new home.

I planted a few seeds last week ... does one really need to wait that long for a harvest?

BTW .... I have Prickly pear needles in my left thumb ... forgot the old rule about brown paper bags (no one uses them anymore!)

I do! When I go to the bakery I always use one for my bread. Then, when the bread is eaten (generally the same day!) I save the bag for mushrooms. Mushrooms keep fresher in brown bags, but are always served in plastic rubbish!
