This proves that the RoC will gain nothing in negotiating with Toilet as he does not call the shots.

I greatly admire Christofias for immediately pointing out that Talat has no control over the police in the north and thus bears no responsibility for their actions. Talat is in a difficult position and I am glad that Christofias is adopting a constructive approach in his relations with him.

I do not agree with your premise above. Ankara considers Talat to be the President of the TRNC and recognises him as the leader of the Turkish Cypriots. Doing a deal with him will put Turkey on the spot.

Mucahit, your assessments are definitely correct. The Annan Plan and any form of "United Cyprus" means death for TRNC and Turkish Cypriots. If the military was more involved in AKP's foreign policy, such a disgrace as the 2004 referendum would never have happened. The AKP would have never been allowed to committ treason. Greeks and the imperialist sponsors would never have been allowed to exploit and propagandize Turkish Cypriot people. The injustices done to Rauf Denktas would never have happened. I have some hope however. The AKP is facing closure. Let us hope the court makes the right decision and bans this treasonous party and excludes its traitor politicians from politics in Turkey. Let them become politicians in their beloved Greece. Now is the time for opposition and patriots in TRNC to file closure charges against Talat's so-called party. There is more than enough evidence to show thier treason.
