The whole incident last night, with the shutting of the Ledra street, is down to the responsibility of the Turkish side, and the inability of the TC leadership to have the "trnc police" under its control. As we all know, the police is under the command of the Turkish armed forces, which did not see the terms of the Ledra street’s opening agreement with a positive eye.

You fools, if it wasn't the responsibility of the TC side, but instead that of the GC side, wouldn't Bananiot have already been here to make the big announcement and "nail" the GC side?

I'll repeat, it looks to me like a normal human SNAFU which will quickly be forgotten. A lot of people very happy, just a handful of GCs trying to make a fuss about a very tiny incident of no significance.

Kifeas, I would have given you a bit more credit had you not mentioned Bananiot.

Anyway, I hope it will all blow over. More important were any Turkish soldiers in sight? Did YOU see any. Please let us know.

Could it be that policing the buffer zone was not thought about in depth. It should be UN, but from pictures I have seen, there were only a handful of UN, not enough for crowd control.

How long ago did I ask this question....what are these people doing....
