you cannot pick and choose the Laws you abide by...
who would have imagined that such a small diversion would cause an International Incident,
but our situation is so frail. it is clear that there is some influence which with its own agenda,
will come in conflict with the two negociators, TandC, yet it is very encouraging that in all
of this that they remain united. This bodes well for us as Cypriots.
...also, i would suggest, the greatest confidence building measure would be, if it were possible, that both Police Forces could stand side by side and across from each other, within the buffer zone. This somehow, had the Turkish Army arranged it, instead of the usual, would have sent a "right" message about security.
Aimless wandering of a few TC policemen is 'provocative'. What next; a peace dove will fly in your direction and you will scream, 'dive, The Turks Are Coming?. Is that what they call 'paranoia'?
You boys tried some of that aimless wondering back in the 70's. We still have foreigners living in our homes and you're telling me we're paranoid when one of your uniforms steps over a line?????
In short...YES!!!! Who sent in the protesters DT...As if I didn't know!!!
The protester was a pro peace protestor. The sign he was carrying stated that GC=TC in Greek. He did nothing illegal. Therefore there was no need for him to be stopped by GC police.
If he was unwelcome on your side, then you can stop him from passing your post.
You guys are making a big fuss for nothing as the rules are simple. Do not contravene the buffer and we will not close the gates. IT IS THAT SIMPLE even for a dunce like you Zan.
