LEDRA/LOKMACI OPENS AFTER NEARLY 50 YEARS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Thu Apr 03, 2008 6:34 pm

You still dont get it do you the future of Cyprus chnaged for ever when 1974 happened, there will always be a north and south where everyone can roam and settle freely, why are you still trying to peddle us faulty goods?

So what you say is that I am right after all? That no matter how many gates are opened and how many steps of goodwill we make, you will always insist that the north part of our country, which is the the homeland of 5+ times more GCs than TCs, should be the "Turkish north"?

Just settling freely is not the solution mate. I can go and settle freely in Lithuania or Portugal if I want to. That doesn't mean that Lithuania or Portugal is my country though. However the north part of Cyprus IS my country, and it is NOT Turkish.

So can we now agree that no matter how many steps of goodwill we make and no matter who our president is, you will always insist that the north part of Cyprus is supposedly "Turkish", and therefore a solution will not be found by peaceful means? I was hopping you would prove me wrong, but you are proving me right after all.

You are stuck on this Turkish thing, why not say its North Cyprus where you can go and live as freely as I do and I can go live in South Cyprus if thats what I want, no Turkish or Greek. Where you want to use your numerical advantage is important here, you see fit for me to live in a state where you run the show and I abide but when I suggest why dont we create a systme where everyone can choose where they want to live and whom they wish to be ruled by either the north or south states, no Greek no Turkish, whats wrong with that?

Whats wrong is simple: You want to create your own separate state on land that belongs by 80%+ to us.

If you don't like the fact that you are a minority on this island that doesn't give you the right to ethnically cleanse us and violate our rights. If you want your own separate state then build it on land that belongs to you, not on land that belongs to us. We do NOT want to give you OUR land in order to have your own separate state on it. So what are you going to do? Start a war to take it by force from us? Well, you can do that, and you did in 1974, but that war can only end if you give back what you stole by force.

How did you hope to solve the Cyprus Problem? By us surrendering to you what you stole from us in 1974? Thats not a solution for us mate.

So your problem is allowing us to administer the North state, why dont you try to get us to submit to the same where the GC will administer the whole island, you feel uncomfortbale with us doing it yet in the same breath you want to impose your rule me, that is not fair Piratis, 2 equal states joined at the federal level as one county is the only solution TCs will accept or the partition cna conitnue until the power swings in or further away from your realm.

Again VP, your only telling how you want the problem to be settled with no options. Choice is not yours buddy. Equate giving the stolen lands back to the original owners and we might get somewhere. Until then stop being a one sided chauvanistic Turk that you are and speak words with equality for a solution. Your outdated blame game is over. Face the facts not the Turkish way of settling things which is sit to idle and threaten.

Your reading but not understanding due to your blindness that I I support everyone gets the right to return or sell up, but in a BBF solution as supported by the UN and 99% of the world.

I didn't ask you to live under our rule VP. I didn't invade your territory to enslave you neither I imported you on this island as slaves. On the contrary it is you who came to this island to impose your rule on us and enslave us. So if today you are a minority on this island thats really a result of your own choices, not mine.

Cyprus either you like it or not has a Greek Cypriot majority. You can live here as equal citizen like every other Cypriot, but you have no right to ethnically cleanse Greek Cypriots from part of their island so you can artificially create some "Turkish state" on land that belongs by 80%+ to us.

So, since we are going all over the same discussions again, what is obvious is that the Turks and TCs will not give back what they stole from us, and no steps of goodwill will make them to change their mind.

We will not be a minority in a GC state, becuase thats where you want to put us like in the past so we will have to fight tooth and nail if necessary to protect our rights to our share of this island and you will have to wait and wait for the swing in power to occur to make submit to your demands.
