Hello Peter, you seem to have gone rather quiet. it would be nice to know if any of this advice has helped you.

There does seem to be a tremendous increase in the number of timber framed properties being built here just now.

Our own property is timber framed, with the bricks and then a thick skin of concrete on the outside to blend in with the local housing. We don't look any different to those surrounding us but we have the warmth in winter, no mould [hopefully] and also as i mentioned before the insulation.
