I agree with Petros and FYC but would add

Georges Pub next to Marathon Hotel (Sliced liver, Bacon & onions to die for)

Blue Island, Beef wellington cooked to perfection, glad i didn't have a starter

The Shakespeare; (British Sunday lunch par excellence plus Chinese and Indian Buffet nights)

Panda Chinese restaurant & Takeaway in Kolossi

MM

Has anyone tried the El Pueblo Mexican restaurant opposite the Apollonia???

Hi
Tried the El Pueblo a couple of times because we had money off vouchers - not bad but nowhere near as nice as such places like Chiquitos in UK and we felt it was expensive. We got half price off everything and for 4 people with a couple of bottles of beer each, 3 starters and only a main course - we still paid around Cy£36 so the bill was over Cy£70

My current faves, in no particular order, are:
*Neo Phaliron on Glastonas
*Flavours of India takeaway in Erimi
*Lysiotikis near Germasoyia roundabout
*Erimi Kitchen for fish & chips
*Jimmy's Pub on the seafront for his steak in pepper sauce
*The sandwich van by the Laiki Bank near St Nicholas roundabout

Off the top of my head, Kissos, Taurus steak place, Syrian club, Dinos (best pasta ever, although nearby exploding shop took us by surprise when went to Dinos and walked past the exploding place 5 mins earlier - it felt like a truck hitting the restaurant and it broke the glass door) and Pagoda chinese. Going to Syrian club on sunday. Hopefully can sit outside in the night soon as is dead nice.

Oh yeah, and where is a good Indian? I have heard there is only like 2 on the island. Our old company used to get us free indian meals (and the alcohol too) when we worked late. Used to go about 4 times a week for about 2 years. Right feel like a nice Indian now. Been too long...

Cheers

Ps. Ahem, I know it's sad and everything, and you get them everywhere, but I seriously love TGIs for a burger (forget everywhere else). Even when I was in Dubai they were good, although didn't have an alcohol licence. We used to go to TFI Thursdays instead (weekend was fri and sat at the time) to get the same effect with beer, plus a midget doorman with full doorman dress. Well tops at the time...

Hard call...............I like most places where they serve souvlaki/salad and wine!
Never been to your first or second choices so may have to give them a go....
