I agree with Petros and FYC but would add

Georges Pub next to Marathon Hotel (Sliced liver, Bacon & onions to die for)

Are you mad, liver?

On the whole I have been disappointed with steaks on island - too tough!
I know what you mean, but the Taurus does brilliant steaks. I normally have medium rare steaks and they cooked mine exactly as I like it. Lovely. Well recommend that place.

I don't like Limasol... I love Pafos
Surely you need the most beautiful cities thread then rather than this one?....

Cheers

Nikitas wrote:Absolutely ordinary oven.

You need frozen New Zealand rolled boneless lamb. For some reason the NZ lamb turns out the best. The rolled lamb we get here in Greece weighs about a kilo and half and is in a net. Thaw it to room temp and dry well, rub all over the outside with salt, pepper and oregano.

Preheat the oven to 200. In the middle level place a roasting pan half full of water and on top put a grill. Place the meat on the grill. Put in the oven and turn the temperature down to 150 and forget it for 3 hours for weight of 1-1.5 kilos. Resist the temptation to open the oven and peek.

It comes out browned and crisp on the outside, most of the fat melted off and very tender. Let it stand for ten minutes before slicing. Oh yes, take the netting off before you eat!

The lamb was gorgeous cheers Nikita. We had it with potatoes, the most delicious lamb gravy I have had in years - and we washed it all down with copious amount of red wine, scrummy!

Definitely will be cooking that again :D :D :D Thanks
