Nasty Turkish Memes ...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Oracle's is a racist claim under a different name. Dress it up whichever way she wants - call it memes, if she wants - it is essentially a racist argument.

I think the main difference is that the Greeks took other nations as their own (As long as they had something that the Greeks could boast about and use the Greek name for) and made the world believe that these people were ACTUALLY GREEK. The Turks, on the other hand, allowed cultures, religions and identities of others to flourish so that they could claim it for them selves and for their creed. Call it naive on the Turkish side but I think we will all believe honest.

What is it with you and Memes any way....Are yours small and you have Meme envy???

Zan trying to school us on history? hahahaha

Go on Zan, elaborate on how Greeks took other nations as their own?? Its hilarious, your accusing Greeks of doing what the Turks are renowned for. Nothing changes much. One example is not acknowledging the ancient Greek Orthodox presence in what is now modern day Turkey and instead calling them 'Anciant Christian Turks' lol. How about not allowing Greeks and Armenians to have Greek and Armenian names, or not letting Kurds speak Kurdish, in order to eradicate their culture which was indigenous to the lands that Turks stole from them.

Zan dont try and school us on history, your a clueless nob.

I’m not convinced that modern Greeks have inherited any of the above aptitudes if the incompetence they display today is anything to go by. In fact, modern Greeks are so distant to the ancient greats we read about that one would be forgiven, myself included, for having any reservations regarding any connections between the two.

Some time ago I wrote about ancient Greeks acquiring their alphabet from Cypriots, according to one linguistics scholar, and if this is proven beyond any reasonable doubt then this would have profound repercussions on all other alleged Greek creations and inventions…

Another thing that baffles me is that if you take a look at this forum of bilingual members and use it as a sample to extract conclusions you'll find that the strictly Greek members are not exactly the brightest of the bunch... :?

To close this off I feel that ancient Greece needs to be put under the microscope with even greater magnification by outside experts because some things just don’t seem to be adding up…

Do you mean like Invasion / Intervention / Peace-keeping where there is a subjective bias looking at it from different perspectives perhaps?

Or are you a hell-bent racist who refuses drop the possibility of a way to partition people into distinct immutable groups?

Because you know with some genes, we have over 99% similarity with those from Chimps .... Do they form another "race" of Humans?

How much genetic difference do you "racists" require to place people into different "races" ?

Because I can only manage ONE RACE...... .... the Human Race!

Aaaahhh .... memes of today are different to memes of yesterday.

They are flexible, adaptable, and can be acquired through assimilation, education and such like. Cultures change ..... cultures can be made extinct or cultivated to improve.

That's why they are not "racist"-orientated, because individuals can move freely between cultures by modifying their memes accordingly.

I'm sure there is a tablet for your relentless bipolar/schitzophrenic tendencies

It's very entertaining to observe the boundaries you try to push, with a test of your own psychology, a realm in which you test your own insecurities and mental instabilites on all levels.

None the less, I give you credit for the free entertainment you provide.

After all, I'm sure that somewhere in my memes there are genes which can prove that I will take anything that is free ... including all those "stolen" Greek/GC lands.

Relax, I'm joking

You’re NOT addressing the problem Oracle.

A lot of people are complaining that Oracle intentionally makes RACIST posts/threads against Turks and/or Turkish Cypriots and I have to mostly agree with them.

The truth is that many of your arguments have no technical basis, and you are NOT providing any, so one can only conclude that they are nothing more than spiteful and racist jabs wrapped up in philosophical packaging.

I understand your need to vent off your anger at those responsible for Cyprus’ woes but it can be done in a specific technical way that targets the actual offender and not every single person that was ever born of Turkish descend… that’s way too generalized and can only cause ill feeling.

I feel that the frequency and amplitude of these nasty threads is a serious decline in forum quality and have noticed that some good debaters from last year seem to have disappeared most likely bored of the constant Oracle Vs Turkish Genes mud slinging so please reconsider your approach. :(

Wrong thread? I don't know...

Include a "you feel are" where you know it should be.

Anyways, no need for a reply from Oracle so put the popcorn away...
