One would have to assume that you knew how to pose a question ... and subsequently digest an answer ...

We have overwhelming evidence to prove we are so similar we could do away with the old groupings "races". If we had no borders we could all diffuse across the planet and blend and adapt to look as befits wherever we land for long enough to reproduce and have kids.

So constant motion across the planet would leave us all looking slightly dusky and of average height and build.

But some people put down roots, and that stability may allow them to cultivate their memes, which can also adapt "from" their surroundings .... the style of music (predominantly percussion or wind) reflects the mood of the environment, the dialects evolving into new languages, the paintings and crafts needed etc.

So again some would form groups ... but still all of the same Genetic pool (as we have now, having shared the same mother 150,000 years ago) .... but differing only in our habits a reflection of the environment we have chosen ... these are our precious memes.

These are the only distinguishing factors between groups of people ..... their habits and culture ..... Not Races or Genes!

This is what we are all fighting to hold onto; to protect from extinction. To pass on to our children ... our only identifying links with our forefathers.

The minorities in the Cyprus Problem are therefore the GCs and not the TCs.

And the environment first chosen by the GCs to settle down and develop their memes was Cyprus .... The ousting from this environment that the GCs have adapted to for thousands of years, is the root cause of dissension because it is painful to be extricated from that which you have comfortably homed your memes towards.

Even if the GCs were grouped with the Global Greeks because of shared language and culture (memes) they would amount to less than 15 Million people. Whereas, by the same logic the TCs grouped with the Turks would amount to 80 Million.

TCs are by no stretch of the imagination the minority in the Cyprus Problem therefore.

Avoiding hypocrisy ...... the main distinguishing meme is language!

And whilst TCs hang on to Turkish so the GCs hang onto Greek ...... and that in the end is what separates and distinguishes us.

Now if we have to protect minority rights ... it is those of the GCs, and GC memes that have to be protected from extinction.

zan wrote:Come on Stella....I said nothing derogatory about Gypsies.....I am just backing up my answer to your memes about differences in Turks and Greeks. One is honest and can fight a good fight...ie, Turks and the other is a mixture of many races all of which end up being Greek because that is the way Greeks like it. Those that do not make the transition are murdered. That makes the true Greeks deceitful murdering leaches......Which is you..... 8)

RACIST ZAN ....

You just cannot move on from your fascist, Kemalist, dictatorships ... evolve or become extinct ...

No room for "racists" when it comes to superior memes ...

I raise you your sagging Memes with two sturdy balls....Now how about answering the question...You are just stalling now...You made a mistake with your entry and now you are resorting to large red letters as if they mean something!!!  8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I feel another eruption here. Zan, I think you have lost her there.
