How much do the services of a cleaner cost?

Postby Halyavchik » Tue Apr 01, 2008 7:15 pm

Limassol 3-4 times a month. Large and generally clean apartment.

I don't want to go through an agency because:
1) I'm cheap
2) I'd rather give the full sum directly to the cleaner

Approximately ten euros an hour is the going rate.
You might want to put a small ad in the Cyprus Weekly.

I pay a cleaner 40Euros per day and gardener 50 Euros per day - but it is a privilege to work for me of course ;-)

That is cheap. We pay that for 1 hour in the UK.

8) Must be more expensive in Limmasol - my cleaner is brilliant and charges me 5 euros per hour. takes her a couple of hours to do my apartment through. i always give her a bit more as she does such a good job.

I know of Sri Lankans earning half that and then expected to survive..slave labour, bloody disgrace.
If you want a cleaner go to the sea front on a Sunday, ask the girls there, but please pay a decent rate...
