Crossing from RoC to TRNC with UK plates

Postby icefist » Tue Apr 01, 2008 4:10 pm

Does anybody knows what are the regulations about this, in case that car is not with GC plates, but brought from abroad.
Might there be any problem?
Thanks

No issue provided it has valid UK MOT and insurance and documents are registered in your name. Still have to pay insurance in TRNC.

I don't see any problem with daily visits...you will need to apply for permission if you wish to stay longer...maximum permission allowed is 12 months.
After a months you either pay the duty or take your vehicle out of the country..(funny enough..driving it to ROC and back is not accepted as as exiting the country)
