Militiades - no need to loose your temper. I am simply stating what the RoC constituon embodies ( or embodied ) - a constitution agreed to by your democratically elected leader. This constitution recognized that the relationship between the TCs and the GCs are not that of a majority/minority in Cyprus.

Coming here from Greece, practicing the Greek religion, speaking the Greek language, listening to Greek songs, watching Greek TV, waving the Greek flag on your flag pole at each patrol station, educating your kids with textbooks from Greece, educating your officers in Greece, abiding by Greek foreign policy and in fact recently trying to join with Greece... Do tell me: how many "Cypriots" live in the South?
NO Sir , Greek flags DO not fly on petrol stations !!
Yes they do. Check again.
(BTW I did not write "petrol" but rather: patrol, referrring to those on your border with us).
miltiades wrote:Are you not being a little racist here , I mean , what do you expect the G/Cs to speak , Chinese ?? What about their religion do you think they should practice Hinduism !!
No I do not. But I do expect them to admit they have a Greek lifestyle, Greek principles, Greek domestice/foreign policies, and as such, accept that they can have no interference with how I administer myself or be put in a position to endanger my safety on this island ever again.
miltiades wrote:When did they try to join with Greece , recently you say , when precisely.
Listen mate . We are f..ng Cypriots , Greece can go to hell and so can the other cancerous influence that is trying to eradicate a part of Cyprus from the face of the earth . The part of Cyprus is the T/C , AS THE QUOTE ON THE MOUNTAIN SITE SAYS ""How fortunate is the person who can say I'm a Turk". !! What a nauseating statement !!
Not to me. My identity does not consist of simply being a Cypriot. I am a Turkish Cypriot and you have no say in how I choose to embrace either part of my identity.
miltiades wrote:I'm not fortunate to be a G/C or indeed a Cypriot , I'm a human being that looks at the world and it's people objectively , but there again I do not have a chip on my shoulder neither do I rely on a third world nation for my daily bread !!
My community was forced into that dependency at the gunpoint of a criminal gang formed by the GCs. We became dependent when you deprived us of essentials of life that included infant medicine inside enclaves at a time when no Turkish batallion was on this island nor were any GCs refugees. If you want to feel proud of it, be my guest.
