Hi Wendie

I am new boy to the forum but may be able to assist you with your car. It is correct that the G/KM rating should be on page 2 of your V5 as it should for all cars reg after 1st March 2001. Accdording to Glasses Guide check book, the rating for a 2002 Merc SLK 230 is 236 G/KM. If you let me have your reg no and fax or email details, I will HPI the car for you and forward you a copy.

Hi New Boy,

Think there maybe some confustion, I have the SLK not Wendie, unless Wendie has one too?
I know what my CO2 rating is - Wendie was asking not me!

Hi Ian, No problems, as it turns out I also have a SLK

Thanks for the offer but I have now, with the help of Bill got the costings to take the car over.

Hi Wendie,

Hope you quotation for taking out your SLK came in better than mine, one of the pitfalls of driving a fast car I suppose :-)

Hi Pippa, Mine is quite a few years older than yours and came in far better than I thought, it was 2831.00 Euros. Though it is an older car its in excellent condition and fun to drive

as you know.

I have not decided though yet, whether to take it or not as it is not really a practical car, and originally was looking to sell it and buy a new car in Cyprus...one that can be used to pick people up from the airport :roll:

But we will see. :lol:
