I must admit I cannot understand if there is only a little water left why are the tourist areas not been restricted, and the likes of Paphos just seem to carry on as normal.

Morning Purdey mou.
No-one seems to know which I find strange! We had water yesterday - but off again at 7 this morning!

We went to Orphanides yesterday and drove passed the car wash. There were 3 employees around - all using hosepipes or pressure washers to wash down the area and not ONE car being cleaned! 8) 8)

This sums Cyprus up for me, sorry!

It may surprise some of you, but we are still having water cuts - supposedly 24 hours on, 24 hours off! Alas this is not the case. The water goes off at approximately 7am on the 'off' day but does not resume till 1, even sometimes 2pm on the 'on' day. Very frustrating to say the least! :x

Is anyone else experiencing these problems?

(A friend of mine had no water for THREE CONSECUTIVE DAYS last week - no explanation given! )

My parents (Limassol) are having the same problems. My sister down by the old market is having water more or less 24-7.

That's because your village 'accidentally' burst the pipes over and over!
