Any suggestions for good dog walks where you can let the dog off the lead and enjoy the scenery?

Hello JimB and welcome to the forum.

Since dogs are not allowed to run loose in public open spaces and any other location may have the risk of poison, my suggestion would be either to go into the mountainous area and let him have a run around, or ask any local you may know who has any land whether he puts poison down.

The poison is used essentially for the rodents, contrary to popular belief that it is for the foreigners dogs, but if you are close to a built up area the chances are higher.

I guess a muzzle could be used but it won't be very nice for the dog.

Kurupetos, I have my rifles ready for sickos like you running loose. Just stay in germany or whereever the hell you are and leave our dogs alone.
If I caught you harm mine god help you mate, you will be housing your rifle up your arse sideways. Capishe!

I take my Stacy to the English School grounds almost every day at about 18:00. There, she meets Sahi, Profesor, Lady, Freud, Ataksia, Napoleon, Michelle and a few others. She has a great time. Always carry antidotes with me. Better safe than sorry.

muzzels don't really work as far as preventing the dog from eating something he wasnts to eat.
and that's all i am going to say because it will turn ugly before long.....
