aplliances and furniture

Postby simba » Sun Mar 30, 2008 10:55 pm

Please can some of you more experienced owners tell me where I can buy both appliances and furniture, our place is near Polis, so I suppose Paphos is where I need to look.
I would prefer it if they had a website to look at, so I can start looking and have some ideas before we go out.
Any help you maybe able to offer a new owner would be most useful.

Thanks in advance.

It would probably be better if you posted your query in the general chat section ~ that way you might get more people seeing it and hopefully more replies.

Hi Simba

On the rd to paphos about 7k out of polis there a electrical shop on the right hand side, This is where i brought all my appliance cooker washing machine, air con fridge freezer everything electrical satellite tv ,the list goes on and on. He is a really nice guy and so friendly, he has an hearing aid so you know you got the right shop. I would not go anywhere now apart from him to buy my stuff i need. We had a prob with our washing machine, i rang him, and he sent his son out within 1 hr and he fixed it, such great service. Just tell him English family in milou village recommended you, you might get a discount

Hi Simba,
You are thinking along the same lines as myself. I came across a place called Furniture warehouse in Paphos. It has a good web site and the prices seem very good.If you google furniture warehouse paphos you will find it.
Cheers Norman.

You can get everything from "Steptoes" in Paphos, run by a Brit and a lot cheaper for the same goods sold in some of the other shops around. They deliver and connect and build furniture(beds etc) in situ.We had a very good experience with them. They have a web site so try googling it to find it.

I would not look any further than Steptoes. Cracking service, cracking prices and very helpful. They said our 'kit' would arrive on the Thursday at 12pm, it actually arrived 2 hours early!
