Sorry but I doubt you know anything about the status of the TRNC. I travel to the TRNC once a year. I come to Larnaca because its more convenient to me. I can only judge the economy from what I see. Lets talk about development, I see more luxuries buildings in the north. As for cars, bloody hell, where is the money coming from? What is it with these cars. Its as if there is a competition. Its mind boggling. BMWs Mercedes Porsche Lexus Ferrari and the list goes on. I drive from Larnaca and see the cars on the roads, they are no match to what I see in the north.

So please, I think your evening classes should be to your people and it should titled "how to keep up with the Joneses" The TCs being the Joneses.

You see a bunch of luxury cars in Kyrenia because they’re all concentrated there, and not to mention that most of these are owned by the underworld like the brothel/casino owners and GC land floggers who made it big illegally, but in the south the rich are widespread.

Upon the implementation of a solution it’s these very brothel/casino owners and GC land floggers that will be the first to be financially hit. On the other hand, we deal with the many average people from the north on a daily basis and I assure you they have a lot of catching up to do in the various trades.

The issue was and still is - The GC just will not accept a power share.

Funny how in NI it appears to work as both sides have compromised a word that GC's just can't understand.

I have created a proposal to remove these greedy, power hungry GCs from the Cyprob solution negotiations and you saw it but ran away like a coward. You still not happy with ZERO GC involvement.

Stop bitching here go suggest some power sharing arrangements that will be fair to TCs, Turks and Kurds (and consequently GCs!).

Why dont you do it now in the TRNC? Give the GCs the same rights that TCs have and enjoy in the south, like acces to their land, right of residence, right to work and start a business? Once you achieved your "independence" the first thing you enacted was a racist constitution which "nationalised" GC land. Nationalised in this case was determined to be stealing by the European Court of Human Rights. Some democracy you established!

What planet are you on...What rights have we got in the South....What return of property rights???Oh! Those ones that say that we can only have it back if we surrender ourselves to the Greek state.....Well! I am sure that a deal can be done for those GCS that want to become TC!!!

TCs are still the official OWNERS of their land in the south. Possession is reestablished by residing in the RoC for six months. Once that is done the original owner can regain his land even if it is occupied by displaced GCs, there are court cases that decide this, look them up in the press.

GCs were deprived of both ownership and possession in the north. Once the EU and the ECHR stigmatised the nationalisation of land then there was this new scheme to reverse the obviously racist nationalisation clause in the constitution and replace it with the properties commission.

And why should anyone become a citizen of the TRNC in order to reclaim his land? TCs who now hold non CYpriot passports are still the official owners of their land in the RoC. But once racist always racist, this is the rule in the TRNC. It was set up as a racially exclusive club and wants to remain one.
