Apparently there used to be an overhead pulley system for transferring asbestos from the mine all the way to Limassol…

That's right - it went approx 30km to the Old Port of Limassol.
We are hoping to find a couple of books on the history of the chrome mines. If anyone is aware of any that are in English, I would be grateful if you could let me know the title and the author so we can purchase. Thanks
