I remember seeing a funfair somewhere near paphos, can someone tell me where it is . I am taking some friends with us ,who has a downs syndrome child, i say child he is 15. He loves the fairs so would like to take him there. When will it open for the season if you know please

Markwoods, the fun fair is usually set up for the summer season at the corner of Tombs of the Kings road. Read the other day that the land there is now sold to some developers so don't know if there will be a fun fair this summer at that particular spot. Will update you if I hear anything more about it.

Hopefully someone could help you out with the funfair Mark.....

But if you are going out to Paphos ... (or make a special trip regardless of fair) ... we've just discovered one of the greatest tourist attractions which is an absolute delight ... It is the Pafos Bird and Animal Park near Pegeia.

It has really good facilities, parrot shows, craft shops, play area and really well-looked after and presented animals.

Your friend's son would love it ... as well as all the adults.

It is an awesome place; I went there when it first opened…

Word to the wise tho – when we went the prices outside looked outrageous but it turned out they were for a month pass or a season ticket or something. The daily prices are fine…

I mention it because I know somebody that drove all the way there, looked at the pricing and went home again…

Is there anything else where we could take him in Cyprus you can think off.
I know the bloke who runs the red speed boat in paphos harbour, so he going on that oh what fun that is :wink:
