Almost to the second O. Great honour to share almost all of your thoughts at the same time. Here's another pic of the illegal airfield at Tymbou. I count at least two people in this one and one car and one truck.

Dear bill, great picture ... bit busy

...... But, can we dispense with the forum all together ... my finger-typing is proving a chore ......

I would much rather lie on the coach and communicate deep thoughts via alternative routes ... 8)

Where's this coach going O ??

Doesn't look very busy.

Not as busy as Larnaca but still a beautiful airport you can ask the GCs that use it to fly to Istanbul, that picture was taken early morning look at it this way you may use it one day if we ever find a solution.

Thank you VP for the invite. I certainly will be using it as it is the nearest to my home villages.

As to architectural style - My style of preference is the English, Cotswold cottage, thatched roof look which is far more warm and welcoming. Terribly impractical for anything other than pubs I know.

Given the choice, for large public buildings, I would go for a twenties/thirties art deco style over the huge, square, plate glass look that dominates new airports (and indeed most new large buildings).

These buildings are becoming very standard all over the world and the lastest airport has just been completed in Ankara, havent seen it yet but its supposed to be one of the best in the world. Ours is perfect for us we are very happy with it as it very spacious and practicle.
