Yep, watched all three of the vids referred to during the course of this post.

Those fools who try and defend the indefensible like the beheading of the poor, chained man (may he rest in peace) in Wilder's film are just as guilty as the evil murderers and just as blinded by their hatred of fundamental human rights and freedoms.

Cast your minds back to the afternoon and evening of 9/11 when you will have seen and heard supposedly moderate Muslims (if such a thing exists) comment on the murderous events of that morning, all of them to a single man (they were all men of course) and I watched several interviews, qualified their views on the morning's hideous mass murder by going on to refer to such things as the Palestinian problem thereby placing a limit on the extent of their condemnations and human compassions. In this way they were just as guilty as the murderers.

Let me stress again that all religions and faiths are nonsense. It was not that long ago that Xianity in all its variations felt it a duty to invade and convert others and to treat indigenous people hideously in the process. I also worry about the extent of influence that Churches have in the west, particularly of course in the USA. "God bless" the far more secular Europe although even here we have far too much meddling by religious zealots, to my mind.
