I have no doubt that when the dust settles and the cyprob is no more, people that would stand out would be people like Sevgul, Paraschos, Droushiotis, Tziampazis and so many others who have devoted their lives to the unity of Cyprus and all the Cypriots.

Bananiot wrote:Aidan, Sevgul is a giant. A giant of love, passion, dignity, cypriotness. Do not confuse her with little pathetic poisonous minnows.

I have to admit I'm not acquainted with this T/C lady and until I read her book Oysters with The Missing Pearls was unaware of her existence,. I was intrigued and fascinated by her unbiased and utterly Cypriot sentiments and felt very proud that my beliefs in the Cypriot race were not a figment of my imagination and that a journalist , a T/C lady shared all of my sentiments.
For all I know to most Greek and Turkish Cypriots this author journalist is well known , I wonder how many have read her book . I beleive that should Zan or Oracle were to read this book , would instantly embark on a major reassessment of their views on the Cyprus problem . I know that neither Zan, nor Oracle have laid eyes on this fascinating collection of real stories by real Cypriots as presented in this book.
