On the subject of identity. The we are all "Cypriot" matter. Even if there was a settlement and everything went swell it would take god knows how long for one national identity to evolve. Just think of it, there was no one common national identity on the island at any stage people just respected one another and got along. Just look at the two sides we both celebrate national days of their respective motherlands , both sides have the national anthems of Greece and Turkey. We use their flags, an newly elected leader from both sides always makes the first trip to thier respective motherland and so on. In the end Cyprus is just the common whore in the Mediterranean.

how are we ever going to solve this problem in cyprus when everyone is greek or turks.???????????????

what we lack in cyprus is visionaries what we lack in cyprus is self identity......................

but i on the other hand i dont have problem with being a cypriot i am neither greek nore turkish even though i speak one of the languages .

then you are before your time mate......We would have reached that stage if the democracy that the Zurich agreement had been given the chance to work but we haven't so reality is more important than dreams.
