she was writing for some years in "alitheia" , and after she got sacked from "phileleftheros", it didnot take her more than a couple of weeks , to move to "politis", where she is writing since.

some months ago she made together with parashos, and with some childern of the missing people, a small conference.

i assume you where not there.... or am I wrong ?

Sevgul may have an axe to grind but is still respected in the TRNC, her husband is in one of the highest government posts and you can freely read her work, unlike the GC director in the south.

Opening a new crossing is just another door, having more passport controls will not bring the 2 cmmunties together just confirms we are divided.

The committee process will come to a halt real soon and the results will not help us move forward. Even if a new plan is put forward I predict the TCs will say NO this time round as is their right to do so.

I have been following Sevgul Uludag's articles in Politis for some months now. I assumed she was working for them.

What is this about a relative of hers being shot by Rauf Denktash? I never knew he did his own dirty work, I thought he recruited others for the "wet jobs". Please Cyper let us have more info.
