Is that the reason you get real beachy? You don't sound too crazy at the moment.

.... I don't initiate conflict (because I know what I am capable of) ... but I do propose ideas to see how well they are received .....

Unfortunately when they are received badly, things turn nasty for me from those less able to be open minded about discourse ....

Despite appearances, I do exercise great restrain in my answers. A nuclear holocaust produces less fallout than me in full flow ....

Squashed a cat on the old Lim to Nic road late one night last summer. It was either him/she or us. Shame it was a nice looking cat.

I have runover 2 cats till now. ( in 3 years of driving ) and have always been more worried about the state of the bumper more than the cat.

Just typical Cypriot

One cat ( referred to above )
One dog ( medium sized - mongrel type, needed new front valence )
One pheasant ( went under a wheel, squashed & rendered inedible )
30+ years of safe motoring ( touch wood )

Sorry to hear about your cat. I think I drove on that road around Kokkina to Pyrgos (Kato?) many years ago.

Thanks for owning up Bill. Otherwise it would have been the TCs to blame

Well of course the TCs were to blame  ... if they hadn't rioted in 1963 ... the UN would never have arrived on the island and my cat would have lived to a ripe old age ....

The constitution / contract was unworkable ... so they sought to modify it ... perfectly acceptable procedure.

If any parties objected eg TCs ... it was up to them to appeal against the changes ... but they didn't because they knew they would lose ...... so they just took to the streets on killing sprees ...

Blimey, so that's how it all started.
