The meanings of words used by Azeri's are really funny.

eg:

Yarrak = Co*k = "firearm" in Azeri dialect
İtmek= to push = "to fu*k" in Azeri dialect

Should be very careful over there!!!!!!

Instead of saying 'ucak eniyor' (plan is landing)
Azeris say.. 'ucak dusuyor' (plan is falling) .. I would get so scared if I heard that on a plane!

'cik' and 'cuk' are words we use out of love or friendship .. :D

People in Turkey find this very weird. << your right lol in turkey when i said 'duzcuk' they had no idea what i was talking about.. they were like 'tuz mu istiyorumusunuz?' lol :P

I keep arguing with my house mate who is from Turkey that TC have their own dialect and he insist that no they speak proper Turkish and all the Turks can understand all the words they use.

Well Lena it's not that different that they can't understand but some things they find vry odd indeed. But it's the same in Turkey a guy from istanbul does not speak the same as a guy from the black sea area. THe thing is that written text is about exactly the same we may talk like this with ach other but when writing it's not the same case. Where exactly is your house mate from?

From Izmir

Girls from Izmir are known to be quite good looking. I got a few friends from İzmir they do understand 95% of what I say, but it's true somethings they find weird.
