Lena mou, I log on read the garbage that goes around and think is this the future of Cyprus? I try not to get too involved unless I take offence to someoneone post then let them have it LOL.

Anyway beautiful people am off to my 8 hour prison (prison of my soul called work) :):):):):)

Dont blame you Andrea mou...Have a love day and take it easy with work :D

What does mou mean?

Lena mou Andreas mou Jim, John and Frank mou...what is mou

Literally means my...like "my Andrea"...but when you put like that next to name is like "Adrea my dear", lots of people dont like that mou but the Cypriot Greek speaking understand the use of it ... it doesnt mean something bad or sexual but shows affection

It's like the -cık/ cik TC's use on the end of names to show affection. People in Turkey find this very weird.

eg; Denizcik, Lenacık , Oraclecık

Yeah kurupetos, there are many things that are the same if I sometimes can't stop myself smiling when I hear a Turkish word spoken by a GC somewhere. Once went to a pastry shop and wanted a spinach and cheese pastry I spoke in english but the lady couldn't understand what I wanted then when I said "ıspanak" she understood straight away  . Another time I saw this old man going "hade hade" to his wife to speed up, the man saw me smiling he must have thought I was a weirdo.
