hello all
moved here 7 months ago,
still looking for an english cake shop.
love lots of cypriot food, but not their cakes . their must be one someware ????
i want a nice custard slice, eccles cake, and a scone with lashings of fresh cream..
can you buy fresh cream here?

Of course you can find fresh cream in Cyprus kaypete.

Where about you live? If you live in Cyprus i can ask and find out where is you can find British cakes...I have since carrot cakes, almond cakes, fruit cakes, flapjacks etc in the nursery i used to work and heard that there is a shop that make them somewhere.

Fresh cream in supermarkets...and as for the cakes...I live in Nicosia and the person that i am going to ask as well...are you interested even if its in Nicosia?

I understand but cannot help for Paphos area maybe other members will do.

No I am talking about fresh cream ... try the big supermarkets. I use fresh cream for cakes and cooking often. I am not sure if you mean clotted cream but I think you can find that one too...never try to find clotted cream in Cyprus.
