The results of a census that took place in Northern Cyprus at the end of April 2006 indicated that the Turkish Cypriot population was 100,000 out of a total population of 264,172[1]. An island-wide census in 1960 indicated the number of Turkish Cypriots as 102,000 and Greek Cypriots as 450,000[2].
According to the Northern Cypriot administration, there are 500,000 Turkish Cypriots in Turkey, 250,000 Turkish Cypriots in United Kingdom[1], 50,000 Turkish Cypriots in Australia, 20,000 Turkish Cypriots in North America[3].

Halil, quit posting bollocks... the TC wiki articles are just that!
My estimates, and I can't be bothered to find and post the evidence right now, is that there are a total of 170,000 TCs... diaspora included.
Right, the GR! "estimate" vs. the Wiki "bollocks", himmm though choice there my friend.
Well let me also make an assumption and say that "170,000 TC's worldwide" must be the biggest load of crap i have heard, even coming from you GR!
Ok Shah, give me till midnight and I'll sort this out because I've just gotten home and I'm not in the mood to research right now. Thanks.
